Privacy Policy
Effective Date: August 18, 2026
Last Updated: August 18, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Velocity Apps collects, uses, stores and protects your information when you visit velocityappdevelopment.com or contact us.
The short version. This website collects almost nothing: the email you send us if you write to us, and standard technical logs from our host. We do not sell your data, we do not run advertising trackers, and we do not build a profile of you across other sites. Each of our apps publishes its own privacy policy covering what that app handles.
Who We Are
Velocity Apps is a company registered in the State of Delaware, United States. We are an independent studio that designs, builds and publishes its own mobile applications. We do not perform development work for third parties, so we do not process anyone else's customer data on their behalf.
For the information collected through this website, Velocity Apps is the data controller. You can reach us at hq@velocityappdevelopment.com.
What This Policy Covers
This policy covers this website and any correspondence you have with us through the address above.
It does not cover the data handled inside our individual applications. Each application publishes its own privacy policy, because each one collects different information for different reasons. Those policies are available in the app's store listing and inside the app's settings.
Where an application's own privacy policy differs from this one, that policy governs that application.
Information We Collect
Information you give us
If you email us, we receive and keep:
- Your name, where you provide it
- Your email address
- The content of your message and any attachments you send
- Any further correspondence between us
This website has no contact form, no account system and no login. Emailing us is the only way you can send us personal information through this site.
Information collected automatically
When you visit this website, our hosting provider records standard technical information:
- IP address, which may be truncated or anonymised
- Browser type, operating system and device type
- Pages requested and the referring page
- Approximate location at country or region level, derived from the IP address
- Timestamps and request logs kept for security and abuse prevention
This information is generated by the act of serving a web page and is used for security and aggregate traffic understanding. We do not use it to identify individual visitors.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information described above to:
- Reply to your message, including support questions about our applications
- Handle privacy requests, legal notices and anything else requiring a record
- Understand which pages of this site are useful, in aggregate, so we can improve it
- Keep the website available and protect it against attack and abuse
- Meet our legal, tax and record keeping obligations
We do not use your information for advertising, we do not add you to a marketing list because you emailed us a support question, and we do not use anything you send us to train machine learning models.
Legal Bases for Processing
Where the General Data Protection Regulation applies, we rely on the following legal bases:
- Legitimate interests, to respond to messages you send us, to secure the website, and to understand aggregate site usage
- Legal obligation, to keep records we are required to keep and to respond to lawful requests
- Consent, for any optional analytics, which you can withdraw at any time
Data Storage
This website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages and served through Cloudflare's global network. The site is static, which means there is no database behind it and no user data stored on the site itself.
Email you send us is stored in our email provider's systems. Access is limited to the people at Velocity Apps who need it to answer you. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored in access-controlled systems.
Data Sharing
We share personal information only in these situations:
- Service providers that operate parts of our business, such as hosting and email, and only to the extent they need it to provide that service
- Professional advisers such as accountants and lawyers, where required
- Legal requirements, where disclosure is required by law, regulation or valid legal process
- Business transfer, if Velocity Apps is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, in which case you will be notified before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy
Our service providers are bound by contract to protect your information and to use it only for the services they provide to us.
We Do Not Sell Your Data
We do not sell, rent or trade personal information. We do not share it with data brokers, advertising networks or analytics companies that would combine it with data from other sources. We have never done this and we have no plans to.
Cookies and Analytics
This website sets no cookies of its own. It has no login, no cart and no personalisation, so there is nothing to remember between visits.
Cloudflare may set a cookie for security purposes, for example to identify traffic from a shared network during an attack. If we later add analytics, it will be a privacy respecting tool configured to anonymise IP addresses and report aggregate page data rather than track individuals, and this section will be updated to name it.
You can block cookies in your browser settings without losing access to any part of this site.
Your Rights
Wherever you are located, you can ask us to:
- Tell you what personal information we hold about you
- Provide a copy of that information
- Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete
- Delete your information, where we have no legal reason to keep it
To exercise any of these rights, email hq@velocityappdevelopment.com. We respond within 30 days and we do not charge a fee for reasonable requests. For data held inside one of our applications, use the deletion and export controls in that app's settings, or contact us at the same address.

- Right to know what personal information we collect, use and disclose, and for what purpose
- Right to delete personal information we hold about you
- Right to correct inaccurate personal information
- Right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA, so there is nothing to opt out of.

- Right to non-discrimination for exercising any of these rights

If you are located in the European Union, the European Economic Area, Switzerland or the United Kingdom, you have the following rights under the General Data Protection Regulation and the UK GDPR:

- Right to erasure of your data
- Right to restrict processing
- Right to data portability
- Right to object to processing carried out on the basis of legitimate interests
- Right to withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent
- Right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority
Children's Privacy
This website is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and where an application has an age requirement it is stated in that application's own policy and store listing. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Data Security
We take practical measures to protect the information we hold:
- All traffic to this website is served over HTTPS with TLS encryption
- The site is static, so there is no database or admin panel behind it to compromise
- Accounts used to operate our systems require multi-factor authentication
- Credentials are stored in a password manager, never in plain text documents or chat
- Devices used for company work are encrypted at rest
No method of transmission or electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affects your personal data we will notify you and the relevant supervisory authority as required by law.
Data Retention
We keep personal information only as long as we need it:
- Support and general correspondence: up to 24 months after the conversation ends, then deleted
- Records with a legal or tax purpose: for as long as the relevant law requires, typically 7 years
- Website logs: retained by our hosting provider, typically for up to 12 months
You can ask us to delete your correspondence sooner and we will, unless we are legally required to keep it.

This website relies on the following third parties. Each receives only what it needs to do its job.

International Data Transfers
Velocity Apps is based in the United States, and our service providers may process information on servers located outside your country of residence. Where personal data is transferred out of the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.
By using this website you understand that your information may be transferred to countries whose data protection rules differ from those in your own country.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes we will notify you by:
- Posting the new policy on this page
- Updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page
